ASTROLOGY BOOKS REVIEWS

Astrology is the study that applies rules of communication between time and space, linking them to human character. The principle behind astrology is that even the smallest thing in this universe is related to the largest thing in the universe in a similar fashion. The rules apply for both things. Astrology comes under metaphysics. Explorations have revealed that astrology is the first attempt ever in the history of mankind to discover a consistent and dependable order in existence. And so without any doubts, astrology is the mother of all sciences and it is the basic core of all religions and cultures.

Zodiac sign or the Sun sign and the elements are the two most important things to be known by a person. They are enough to give a clear cut character analysis of the person. There are over four elements that represent any person. They are fire, earth, air and water sign. There are over twelve zodiacal signs or sun signs. They are Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces.

The Sun moves through the twelve signs on different dates that vary each year. When a person is born close to the border of two signs, then he is said to be in the cusp. That means he could possess any of the two signs. In these cases, the sign is determined by the birth chart, which is nothing but the pattern of solar system at the moment of his birth. Aries, Leo and Sagittarius come under the Fire sign whereas Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn come under Earth sign. Similarly Gemini, Libra and Aquarius come under Air sign and Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces come under Water sign. The sun sign describes the basic nature and personality traits that remain constant and unchanged throughout one's life.
